Abstract

The axial separation of valve seats 20,46 in a dual circuit pressure limiting valve is adjustable. One seat 20 is formed in the one-piece housing 12; the other seat 46 is formed in a member 22 which is screw-threaded into the housing, so that rotation of the member alters its axial position. One circuit has an inlet 28 and outlet 24; the other circuit has an inlet 42 and outlet 40. The valve closures are mounted on aligned rods 36,48 subject to an end load which varies with vehicle axle load. <IMAGE>
