Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the crushing test of construction elements, and to sheets for carrying out this method, wherein a sheet 14 made of elastic material is interposed between each plate 11, 12 of the press 10 and the element 13 to be tested, with a view to compensating for the surface irregularities of the element. The sheet has, on its face applied against the element, a hardness lower than that of the other face. The invention may be used for testing concrete blocks, bricks and like elements. <IMAGE>
