Abstract

A small domestic greenhouse comprises a supporting framework, in the form of a plurality of U-shaped hinge rods (2) movably mounted in oppositely disposed hinge plates (3), covered by a film (1) of plastics material. The plastics covering is provided with pockets in which the rods are engaged and is clamped between two parts which each form a plate 3 at each end. The plates may have a support 6 spacing the greenhouse above the ground and a separate peripheral skirt may extend the covering to ground level. <IMAGE>
