Abstract

In a rubber-tired excavating machine having a superstructure (11) mounted by means of a bearing for revolving movement on a carrier (10) with a front axle (13) the swinging movements of which are controlled by means of hydraulic cylinder and piston units (20) fixed between the front axle (13) and the carrier (10) and wherein between the cylinder chambers of the units (20) there extends a connecting conduit (29) which can be opened and closed by means of a valve mechanism (25, 27) Figure 3 (not shown) to allow or counteract swinging movements, a control device comprising a valve (32) disposed at the centre of the bearing of the superstructure controls pressure fluid from a means (28, 45) of the valve mechanism (25, 27) of the hydraulic connecting conduit (29) only in predetermined revolving positions of the superstructure (11) whereby communication between the hydraulic cylinder and piston units (20) is only allowed in stable revolving positions of the superstructure 11. <IMAGE>
