Abstract

An electric connecting device having a wall (1) of insulating material, on which are mounted at least two electrical contact strips (5, 6) for making contact with another element such as a vehicle lamp (10), a flexible printed circuit (4) having respective circuit tracks, or flexible laminated strip conductors, being in contact with the contact strips, and a housing (9) for coupling the other element (10) to the device. The manufacture of such a device is simplified by the use of at least two rivets (11, 12) which not only fix the housing to the wall 1 but also locate and make electrical contact between the printed circuit tracks or strip conductors and the contact strips. <IMAGE>
