Abstract
A fuel ignition system that uses a high voltage spark generator 30 and a flame rectification detecting circuit 52 comprises a voltage clipping means 22 to prevent the high voltage of the ignition system from interferring with the operation of the flame detection system even though both systems use a common spark gap 14, 15. <IMAGE>
