Abstract

A resilient rubber or plastics frame 3 is bolted to the crankcase 2 and the oil pan 1 and includes a web 6 which lies in an uncompressed state between the parts 1 and 2. The resilience is further increased by a hollow space 7 in the region of the web. The frame reduces the transmission of vibration to the oil pan 1. <IMAGE>
