Feeding-bottles, teats for.- In a teat formed of elastic material for a feeding-bottle &c., the nipple a is substantially solid and of short length, the extent of its entry into the child's mouth being limited by a base c of larger diameter with an integral tube d for connection to the bottle &c. The nipple a has a central passage b leading to a channel through the base c which is also solid. The teat is made of india-rubber, gutta percha, &c. and its form is such that the teat is adapted for axial movement to allow feeding to proceed in the natural manner.
