Abstract

An electronic memorandum system comprises a keyboard 2 which can be operated to store various informational data in a signal processor, the data thus stored being displayed by a display unit 3. The keyboard 2 includes a matrix of first input keys which are operable to store and display various items of data of at least one information parameter (e.g. the customer's name and/or the sales commodity where the memorandum system is used to record sales transactions), a section of second input keys which are operable to store and display alphanumeric data, and a series of third input keys which are operable to feed operational instructions to the signal processor. Any erroneous data entered into the signal processor and displayed by the display unit 3 can be corrected by operation of a correction device. An attache-type case 1 houses the keyboard 2, the display unit 3, the signal processor and the correction device, and also houses a recording device which is operable to record onto a cassette 4 the data stored by the signal processor. The memorandum system provides a convenient manner of recording data and can easily be carried from place to place. <IMAGE>
