Abstract

A dispenser for dispensing a predetermined amount of a beverage from a bottle into a glass, which is operated when the glass is pushed upwardly in contact with the dispenser, comprises a stem 22 with inlet and outlet valves for the metering chamber and an abutment 68 for operating a venting valve 24. The abutment 68 is press fitted onto the stem 22 which is of one-piece construction. <IMAGE>
