Abstract

An electrical coupling pin 5 for interconnecting two electrical sockets 3 in respective cable terminals 2 includes a hollow electrically conductive member and two electrically interconnected contact members 24, or contact member 24 and end portion 22, mounted for relative movement along a longitudinal axis of the pin and resiliently biased away from each other, the contact members providing respective electrical contact faces transverse to the axis of the pin. At least one of the contact members 24 of the pin comprises a pair of members 27 resiliently biased away from each other transversely to the longitudinal axis of the pin so as to make electrical contact with the hollow member. Each socket 2 is provided with a male contact member 19 engageable with a contact face of the pin 5. <IMAGE>
