Abstract

The invention relates to the supply of pulses to electron beam tubes with reverse biased collectors. In order to stabilise the voltage of collector 4 of these tubes within the necessary limits, use is made of low impedance voltage source (unit 21) with the (+) terminal earthed, at the terminals of which is mounted the thyratron 1, with anode 13 earthed, and which supplies via delay line 31 the primary 61 of the transformer 6, to the secondary 62 of which is connected the cathode 5 of the tube. The collector 4 is connected to the (-) terminal of source 21. Applicable in particular to the tubes used in radar and telecommunications. <IMAGE>
