Abstract

Grain-oriented silicon-iron sheet containing 2.2-4.5% Si, 3-35 p.p.m. B, 30-75 p.pm. N (N:B in the range 1:1 to 15:1), 0.02-0.05% Mn, 0.005-0.025% S is improved by the incorporation of 0.01-0.1% of Sn and/or Sb. Magnetic properties are improved and weld brittleness reduced.
