Abstract

Analytical elements for determining an analyte in an aqueous sample and which contain peroxidase are stabilised against deterioration by incorporating therein a polymer obtained by addition copolymerisation of: (1) from 80 to 98% by weight of one or more hydrophobic monomers, (2) from 1 to 20% by weight of one or more monomers containing an anionic group and (3) from 0 to 15% by weight of one or more cross-linkable monomers containing an active methylene group. a
