Abstract

Two opposed caravan walls 3b, 5b are pivoted to a substructure 1 to be movable between upright and folded down positions. At least one inextensible deformable tie 15 is connected between the upper ends of the walls such that when a force is applied in a downwards direction to intermediate region of the tie with the walls in the upright positions, the two walls pivot simultaneously into the folded down positions. <IMAGE>
