Abstract

The rigid folding type caravan has assisted erection. It has a base on a hauled chassis, limited by a floor and four lower virtually vertical panels, front rear and side and four similar upper panels. The latter pivot on horizontal axes on the lower panel upper edges. There are one or more pneumatic, single acting, actuators to raise the panels. Each actuator is permanently fixed in a given position inside the caravan. The upper side panels are joined to the lower ones by normal type hinges and the actuators are pivoted at each end.
