Abstract

The regulator 2 comprises a valve body 23 of a spherical shape and a valve seat 28 having a conical seat surface 27, the valve body 23 being mounted on a diaphragm 19 in a self- aligning condition through an articulating member 24 so that the valve body 23 may be maintained coaxially relative to the conical seat surface 27, thereby ensuring a precise control of flow in response to any change in difference between pressure acting on opposite sides of the diaphragm 19. <IMAGE>
