Abstract
In order to provide a target of low photoconductive lag and relatively small capacitance upon a film of electrically conducting material, a first layer is provided which consists of a mixture of selenium and arsenic and a further layer is provided on said first layer which comprises a mixture of the same two elements, but with the proportion of arsenic increased, at least a portion of the further layer being of a spongy nature.
