Abstract

An active low-pass filter of the third order has independently adjustable parameters, and consists in a Sallen-Key structure comprising a T network R1, C1, R2 (see Fig. 2) which is connected to one input of an operational amplifier via a resistor R3, and two capacitors C2 and C3 which are respectively inserted between on the one hand, the output and said input of said amplifier and on the other hand, the common point of resistor R2, R3 and ground, and wherein a fourth resistor R4 is also connected in parallel with said capacitor C1 of said T network. The invention also extends to a method of adjusting the parameters of said active filter divided up into three phases. The invention is applicable to form modulation or demodulation filters of apparatus for transmitting and receiving coded telephone pulses. <IMAGE>
