Abstract

The invention relates to dressing materials for wounds. A wound- dressing material comprises a wet-laid non-woven fabric consisting of a mixture of cellulose fibres and non-woven fibres with a wound-active layer, e.g., a thin metal coating applied by evaporation, or a printed layer of plastics optionally containing metal, or an impregnation of e.g., polyacrylonitrile.
