199,412. Jones, H. Sefton-, (Lorenz Akt.- Ges., C.). Dec. 22, 1921. Multiplex signalling; wired wireless systems; magnetic modulating systems; oscillation generators.-In a multiplex wired wireless system, the various frequencies are all derived from the same machine, which may be of any type, by means of static frequency changers. Several lines may be simultaneously supplied with several frequencies by the same generator. Any method of modulation may be employed that does not affect the generator itself. As shown, a generator a supplies tuned circuits d, e, f with appropriate frequencies through frequency changers b, c. Intermediate tuned circuits h, in which the modulation is effected, transfer the wave to the line i. In order to lessen interference between the several channels, the circuits h and d, e, fare loosely coupled and suitable reverse, couplings may be used. Modulation may be effected thermionically. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 29946/13, 131,426, and 164,242.
