Abstract

199,153. Kodak, Ltd., (Kodak Soc. Anon, Franþaise). March 20, 1922. Drying-apparatus.-In apparatus for drying photographic prints and the like in which the prints are carried between two absorbent bands K, L, and over a heated cylinder, an adjustable stationary curved plate J squeezes the prints between the bands, and the exposed surface of one of the bands is simultaneously heated by radiation from the heated cylinder before passing over it. In the construction shown there are two heated cylinders F, G and the band K is led horizontally above the cylinder G and forms a feeding and preliminary drying table. The bands K, L are tensioned by adjusting devices B<4>, M<2> respectively. The drum G is preferably at a higher temperature than the drum F, and it may be rotated by the handle G<3>, or by means of a motor on the table A' and gearing H<1>.
