Abstract

<PICT:0419537/III/1> Liquids are fed onto a rotating drum a, heated or cooled, so that a solid film is formed on the drum by supplying the liquid to a container c in which a toothed wheel e is rotated so as to spray the liquid through an adjustable aperture b onto the drum. A movable plate g permits adjustment of the amount of liquid supplied to the drum. A scraper removes the solidified material.
