Photo-mechanical printing-surfaces; printing- apparatus. - A half-tone or screen-decomposed positive or negative is produced on a bromide or like sensitive film P by contact printing from a negative or positive N through a screen R, the illumination comprising a central fixed lamp L, and two or more movable sources, for example lamps L2, L3 mounted so as to be rotatable round the lamp L1 as by a motor. The lamps L2' L, are adjustable towards and from the central lamp L, by the screw shaft s. In the case of line screens, one or more sources of light may be moved during exposure across the lines of the screen. Specifications 15845/93, 15626/08 and 29431/09 are referred to.
