Abstract

Filter circuits; coupling aerial and detector circuits; coupling oscillating and radiating circuits. -When a number of inductively-coupled resonant circuits are arranged in cascade, electrostatic effects are minimized and sharper tuning is attained by making a direct earthed connection between consecutive circuits. A portion l<o> of the inductance of a wireless receiving-aerial is coupled to the inductance of the first resonance circuit L<1>, C<1>, and the adjacent portions of the coils L', l<o> are connected together and earthed. The inductance of the circuit L', C<1> also includes a coil l<1> which is coupled and connected to a coil L<2> of the second resonance circuit L<2>, C<2>. Each coil is so arranged that the parts subject to higher potentials are remote from the other coil. The circuits may be arranged in a metal enclosure X with partitions Y.
