Abstract

198,143. Burlew, G. O. March 28, 1922. Wheels.-A grinding or abrasive disc for dental work comprises an' elastic core 2 of rubber and an outer hard abrading annulus 1. The core of rubber is placed in a mould and surrounded by a mixture of abrading- particles and an integrating-medium of primary plastic or mixable nature capable of hard vulcanization. After vulcanization, the core remains soft, whereby, in use, the disc may yield under pressure.
