Abstract

197,377. Harrison, S. Feb. 7, 1922. Buttons. - Relates to buttons of the kind which are adapted to be readily covered with fabric. The button mould or uncovered button comprises a dome a having an inturned edge, a shank b of wire or strip metal rigidly attached to the dome by bending the ends c into recesses in the dome, and a back plate d pierced to pass over the shank. The back plate has its rim e bent at an angle to engage with the inturned edge of the dome so as to retain the. covering material n in position. The button may be used without a fabric covering, if desired.
