Pile tables and supports for sheetfeeds; sheet-separators; sheet guides and smoothers. - The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises sheet-feeding mechanism wherein sheets are fed to a duplicator from a table 61. Figs. 8 and 9 (Cancelled), supported by a torque rod 65 and secured in place by slotted brackets 63 engaging a cross-rod 64. The sheets are held between a back stop 70 adjustably fixed by a screw 71 engaging a slot 72, adjustable side guides 67, 67<1>, and a front stop 79. The latter is vertically slidable in slots 80 and carries blade 81 resting on the sheets. A feed roller 96 carried in arms 95, 95<1> mounted on a rod 94, sliding in slots in the sides 62, 62<1> of the table, is reciprocated by a slotted arm 90 pivoted at 91 and oscillated from the pinion 85 by a connecting-rod 87. A plate 98 is mounted on the rod 94 and is provided with slots 100, 100<1> so as to be relatively slidable with respect to the arm 95. During the forward motion of the latter a projection 97 on the plate 98 engages a rod 99, the plate is detained, a pawl 101 is thereby released and prevents rotation of the roller 96 which then removes the top sheet from under the blades 81. A pawl 104 prevents rotation of the roller in its return journey whereby the sheet is carried over the blades and on to a pivoted guide 83 which directs it to the roller 29 and drum 1. When sheets folded in two are to be fed, a detachable curved plate 73, Fig. 10 (Cancelled), is fixed on the table 1 to initiate the buckling of the sheets, the buckling being completed by a heavy guide bar 75 slidable in a slot in the stop 70. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
