Packing roofing elements. - Composition shingles and like roofing elements 1 are arranged for packing in a stack with recesses at the side in registration forming grooves 2. Boxes 3 contain non-corrosive nails intended to be used with the shingles and are of a shape complementary to that of the grooves 2 so as to fit therein. Boards 4 are applied at the top and bottom of the stack and the whole bound with wire &c.
