Abstract

194,216. Smith, N. E. Wood-. June 15, 1922. Counting - apparatus. - The spacing-bar is provided w i t h a pivoted finger which can be set to hit or miss a lever adjustably connected to the counter. Preferably, the finger d is pivoted on a bracket c, secured by a screw c<4> to the spacing-bar b, and co-operates with lever e pivoted on the counter f and formed with a slot e<1> engaging a pin on an adjustable split arm e<3> on the counter-spindle i. To suspend counting, the finger is turned inwards by means of a knob d<2>. The bracket c is provided with a pin engaging a depression in the finger to retain the finger in operative position. The counter may be secured to a bracket g<3> which engages the framework a and is secured by a screw g<6>.
