Abstract

192,787. Cook, G. Sept. 11, 1922. Rod rests and holders.-A holder for a fishing rod comprises a leg portion formed of two pieces of tubing 5, 6 detachably jointed together, to the upper one of which a rod holding member 1 is adjustably fitted. The upper end of the tubular member 5 is slotted and flattened to form two lugs between which is fitted the lug 3 on the member 1 which is semi-cylindrical with a cvlindrical end to receive the end of the fishing rod. It is adjusted in position by engagement of a pin on the lug 3 with holes 12 on one of the lugs of the leg member 5, and is clamped by a wing nut 4.
