Abstract

191,606. Tozer, F. M. Jan. 3, 1922. Roofs, slating.-Diagonal slating. Oblong slates are laid at an angle cf 45‹ to the eaves line, each alternate course being laid the reverse way to bond correctly with the preceding course. Cement or plastic hard-setting bitumen is laid on or spread between the slates to prevent penetration of moisture.
