Sights.-Relates to anti-aircraft gun-sights of the kind in which the correct laying of the gun is determined by the intersection of a flexible miniature trajectory curve on the gun, with a miniature range scale on the sight, and comprises electrical means for automatically completing the firing- circuit when the gun has thus been correctly laid. As shown in Fig. 1, a number of insulated contact studs c on the miniature trajectory a are connected in series through the firing- mechanism d to one pole of a battery e. A corresponding set of contact studs g at points according with the various ranges is arranged on the sighting-tube f. The studs g are individually connected to a series of contacts i on a keyboard j, the switch k of which is connected to the other pole of the battery e. The sighting- tube f having been directed on to the target and the switch k set according to the assumed range, the firing-circuit is automatically established by contact of the appropriate stud on the miniature trajectory with the live stud on the range scale, as the gun is elevated to position. In a modification, the keyboard j is dispensed with, and a switch member m, Fig. 6, slidable upon an insulated range bar l carried by the sighting-tube f is placed in direct contact with the stud g corresponding to the required or assumed range.
