Cooking-vessels; 7cettles.-In order to support kettles, saucepans, &c. in the openings of stoves with their lower parts depending below the plane of the stove top, they are provided with a series of exterior projections, which may be pressed out of the material of the vessel and may be strengthened by means of caps secured over them. Or the projections may consist of knobs b, Fig. 2, having shanks passing through holes and secured by a nut b<2> with a washer. In a modification, a band a, Fig. 3, of sheet metal having pressed-out or cut-out and bent projections b is clipped around the vessel by a screw device at c ; or the band may be formed with a continuous flange. The arrangements are specially applicable for utensils used with the stoves set out in Specification 10,339/15, [Class 126, Stoves &c.].
