12,339. Mitchell, F. Aug. 27. Supports for stove bodies.-Fire-proof tables, for supporting burners for cooking, heating various articles, &c., are made of angle-iron with rein orcedcement tops. A top comprises a frame of angleiron a<1> strengthened by cross-pieces of angle-iron and stays d, and filled in with perforated sheet metal and a mixture a of cement, sand, and plaster. Angle-pieces b having slots to engage the stays d serve as feet, as shown in Fig. 5, or may be atta hed to a stand by bolts engaging slots in the anglepieces. When used for heating a water tank r, Fig. 6, a fire-proof casing p and c ver (not shown) may be employed, the fumes escaping by a pipe t.
