Disk wheels.-Cast-metal wheels have the body entirely composed of white iron and are provided with a central bush of soft-metal, such as grey iron, brass, or bronze, which is capable of being machined to the required size of bore. The bush may be secured in place by screws or by easily fusible metal, or the body may be cast round the bush.
