Tyres, elastic, special apparatus for making.-An elastic composition is forced into the tyre cover B through a cock G<4> screwed on to a hollow bolt E connected to the security-band U. Approximately diametrically opposite the bolt E is a vent device comprising a similar hollow bolt F fitted with a telescoping tube G, which passes through a gland G<3> and is fitted with a cock G<2>. In filling the tyre, the parts are arranged as shown, and when the composition appears at the cock G<2>, the tube F is withdrawn from within the tyre and the cock G<2> closed. When the composition is set, the protruding part of the stem F is cut away and an ordinary cap screwed on the bolt F.
