Apparatus fitted to carts.-The body 3 of a weigh-cart is supported (by means of bearing- blocks 11, 13) upon side levers 5 and a forked lever 8 suspended from brackets 1, 10 mounted on the underframe 2. The forward end of the forked lever 8 is coupled through an intermediate lever to a steelyard 18. By turning a hand-wheel 26, a lever 24 pivoted at one extremity to the underframe 2 engages projecting pins 28 on the cart body, and thus removes the cart body from the knife-edges of the levers. The cart body may be tipped into the position shown by dotted lines, by first removing the caps 29 from the bearing-blocks 11.
