Washing-plungers of the kind in which inner and outer cones are used are constructed with radiating tubes d closed at their outer ends and communicating with the inner cone directly and with the outer cone through holes d<2>. The inner cone a is covered by a perforated plate a<2> and is fitted with an additional cone c. The outer cone is provided with a series of holes f arranged intermediate the tubes d and covered by hoods g<1>. Under the hoods, converging and diverging shields k, h respectively are arranged alternately to act as agitators for the water in the tub.
