Wireless telegraphy.-In a receiving-system for continuous oscillations using an ionized-gas relay, the anode circuit is supplied with an alternating current, preferably of audible frequency. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 1, the alternator 5 is - connected to the anode 7 through a high-frequency choking-coil 6 shunted by a condenser 13 and primary 8, which offer little impedance to the amplified high-frequency energy which is led to the detector 10 and telephone 12. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the anode circuit may be supplied with a high-frequency current having a frequency near that of the incoming waves, thus producing beats of audible frequency. This subject matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
