Description
GemäßThe invention relates to a new application the so-called cathode ray relay, the mainly for the reception of continuous (undamped) vibrations comes. When receiving continuous vibrations, it is known to be very desirable to produce a sound at the receiving point, which differs from the atmospheric one Disturbances easily stand out. According to
ίο der Erfindung kommt dieser Ton dadurch zustande, daß das Kathodenstrahlrelais nicht, wie bisher üblich, zwischen Anode und Kathode eine Gleichstromhilfsspannung erhält, sondern eine Wechselstromspannung hörbarerίο of the invention, this tone comes about that the cathode ray relay is not, as was previously the case, between anode and cathode a DC auxiliary voltage receives, but an AC voltage more audible
t5 Frequenz.t5 frequency.
A circuit example according to the inventive concept characterized above is in the Drawing shown. The device is made so that the received energy from the antenna ι inductively by means of the coil 2 to the heated by the battery 14 Cathode 3 and the grid electrode 4 is transferred. 5 is an alternating current machine of audible frequency, which on the one hand with the cathode 3, on the other hand via the high-frequency choke 6 is connected to the anode 7. -The mode of operation of the arrangement is designed in such a way that the received energy from the antenna 1 in the cathode ray relay is only amplified if the alternating current amplitude from the machine 5 has just reached a sufficiently high value. The high frequency thus periodically amplified becomes then transmitted to the tuned secondary circuit 9 by means of the coupling coil 8 and by means of the detector 10, which is connected in parallel to the tuning capacitor 11, perceived in telephone 12 as a tone at the pitch of the frequency of the machine 5.
Der kleine Kondensator 13 dagegen läßt infolge seiner kleinen Kapazität nur einen verschwindend kleinen Bruchteil der Niederfrequenzenergie durch, während er für die Hochfrequenzenergie fast gar- keinen Widerstand bietet, Es wird daheSince the coupling of the secondary circuit 9 with the coil 8 for the low frequency only very is loose, you can hear the sound of machine 5 in the times when there is no high frequency energy arrives, only very weak. If, however, high-frequency energy is added at the same time, it triggers the resonance circuit 9 removes the high frequency from the coil 8 and the sound becomes significant amplified in the telephone 12 reproduced. As the presence of one, albeit weaker Continuous tones can interfere with the recording of the characters, one can influence the effect of the low-frequency energy Machine 5 on the detector circuit completely or almost completely by that one between cathode ray tube and resonance circuit 9 creates two paths, one of which only the high frequency energy and the other only allows the low frequency energy to pass through. For this purpose, in addition to the choke coil 6, there is also a small capacitor 13 in the Anode circuit provided. The choke coil 6 is designed so that it probably the low frequency Vibrations of the machine 5 granted a good passage, but the high frequency Received vibrations opposed a high resistance. The little capacitor 13 on the other hand, due to its small capacity, leaves only an infinitesimally small one Fraction of the low frequency energy through while it is for the high frequency energy almost offers no resistance at all, it becomes there

5' Man kann statt der Wechselstromqueüe 5 auch eine Gleichstromquelle verwenden, wenn ein Wechselstrom der gewünschten Periodenzahl dem Gleichstrom überlagert wird, was beispielsweise auf induktivem Wege geschehen kann.the low-frequency energy of the machine 5 goes predominantly via the choke coil 6 and the high-frequency energy via the capacitor 13 and the coupling coil 8.
5 'Instead of the alternating current source 5, a direct current source can also be used if an alternating current of the desired number of periods is superimposed on the direct current, which can be done inductively, for example.
