Abstract
873. Battistini, G. Jan. 19. Colour photography.-Separate kinematographic colour records are obtained by exposing suitably sensitized and coloured superposed films in an ordinary kinematograph camera. When two films are employed, the emulsions are placed in contact, and the base of the film nearer the objective is coloured to serve as a filter for the first emulsion, while the first emulsion is suitably dyed to serve as a filter for the second emulsion. When three films are used, the third emulsion is coloured to take the place of the above-mentioned coloured base. Fig. 2 shows an arrangement wherein two films are exposed in a camera 6, and one in a camera 7 arranged at right-angles to the camera 6, a transpareut mirror 9 being arranged to deflect a portion of the rays to the machine 7. The mechanisms of the cameras are coupled to work synchronously by a rod 10 and universal joints 11.
