Kinematograph picture films.-A diaphanous band bearing the title or other legend is moved transversely across the picture film, so that the pictures and the title &c. are projected together. In the arrangement shown, the auxiliary band I is wound on a drum J and passes behind the film D, in the gate to a drum K. This drum is geared through a worm shaft L' and a belt and pulleys N', N to the crank-operated shaft H<4>, from which the filmfeed mechanism is driven.
