Abstract

17,483. Kent, F. W. July 27. Drawings to Specification. Kinematograph apparatus.-A shutter for obtaining a reduced time of exposure with the normal rate of feed comprises two or more apertured disks on the same or parallel shafts rotating at different speeds so that their openings coincide for a short period each time the film is stationary. The shutter may be in the focal plane, and means may be provided for declutching one or more of the faster-running disks in order to increase the exposure.
