Abstract
417. Irwin, B. F. H. Jan. 11. [Cognate Application, 3256/15.] Straps and bands.-A device adapted for use as a sleeve-holder and for other purposes, comprises, in the form shown in Fig. 1, a band b having at one end a metal ring, slot, or slide a, through which the other end is passed to form a loop c, or the loop may be formed by a separate piece of material. In the modification shown in Fig. 5, the loop k is constructed separately and wholly or partly of elastic material. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the free end of the band is passed through the ring e and attached directly to the other end. In the form shown in Fig. 3, two separate loops hare attached to the free end of the band, one of them being passed through the ring g. In a further modification, one of the loops h is attached as shown in Fig. 3, but the other one is secured to the end of the band having the ring g.
