24,732. Maslen, G. S. Dec. 29. Springs, arrangement of; guiding vertical play. - A spring support for bicycle and like saddles or seats, side-car or baby-carriage bodies, &c. is provided with an arrangement of levers to cause the whole seat &c. to move uniformly. A saddle 5 is shown mounted on levers 18, 21 pivoted together at 24 and acted upon by springs 8 interposed between a rod 6 secured to the saddle, and a bridge-piece 9, suspended by links 26 from the arms 4 of the base-piece 1. The levers 21 are pivoted at the front to the base-piece 1, and at the other end 23 are hooked to slide on the rod 6. The levers 18 are pivoted at the front to the. saddle, and at the rear to the bridge-piece 9.
