[Cognate Application, 7962/15.] Clips, sheet-metal and spring-wire.-A sheetmetal paper clip 2, which is folded at its back 3 to form relatively-long converging sides, has its gripping-edge 4 and corners 5 bent outwardly to facilitate the insertion of papers. Longitudinal corrugations may be furnished in the edges 4 and corners 5, and transverse corrugations at the fold 3. A filing-tab 10 may be cut out and bent up for use as shown in Fig. 8. In the Provisional Specification it is stated that the clip may be formed of plain or undulated wire.
