21,931. Edwards, H. Nov. 3. Cracking nuts.-Cohune and other palm nuts, such as the ' Victoria ' nut, are heated to 85- 100‹ C. and then cooled by a current or blast of chilled air, immediately before being cracked, for the purpose of rendering the shells brittle.
