21,340. Malicki, J. Nov. 13, 1913, [Convention date]. Barrel hinges.-A bush for the pintles of the lever of a lifting-jack is locked in position by a forked key 24, Fig. 5. The prongs of the key are narrower than the head and are driven into inclined grooves 22 formed in the bush 20, the head 24 occupying an opening 21 in the bearing 19. The two openings 21, Fig. 2, allow the pintles 18, formed on each side of the lever, to be introduced into the bearings 19. The bushes 20 are then inserted endways and are locked by the keys. An opening 23 serves as a means for centring the bush.
