Abstract

9887. Bruck, F. C. vom, [Firm of]. April 28, 1909, [Convention date]. Sliding bolts.-A sliding bolt is formed without projecting guides. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the bolt is of hollow formation, being formed of a plate d and a shell f secured to the plate by a rivet rand by the handle k. The bolt is guided by pins b, b<1> on the base-plate a engaging slots c, c' in the plate d. A spring g located within the hollow of the bolt is secured to the pins b, b<1>, and serves to hold the bolt in either of its two positions, a button i thereon engaging slots o, o<1> in the plate d. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the bolt carries the guiding- pins b, b<1>, the base-plate a being hollow, and being provided with the slots c, c<1>. The spring g is located within the base-plate.
